2 green chillies (slit)

Step 1: Marinate the Duck
In a large bowl, mix yoghurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt.
Add the duck pieces, coat well, and marinate for at least 2 hours (preferably overnight in the fridge).
Step 2: Cook the Rice
Boil water with bay leaves, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and salt.
Add soaked basmati rice and cook until 70% done. Drain and set aside.
